Mental Health

Licensed Mental Health Professionals (CSWMFTCMHC, LP) in the Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CPSC) provide individual, couples, and group counseling services to Weber State University Students. Counseling addresses psychological, social, academic, and other personal issues that directly or indirectly impair clients in their functioning at WSU. Limited crisis intervention is provided during business hours. In addition to counseling, professional clinical staff provide some outreach and consultation services upon request. Such services are designed to educate, enhance skills, and increase mental health awareness. CPSC staff may serve on university committees and/or task forces contributing important knowledge regarding student mental health to the broader WSU community. Depending upon the needs of the Center and the university community, the percentage of time spent engaging in various duties and responsibilities may vary.
